  2. No double bookings.Every booking is checked on our server, so one slot can’t be taken twice.
  3. No texts without consent.Texting stays off until it’s properly registered. Then: consent first, and STOP means stop.

Our story

It started with a van, a calendar and way too much driving.

I’m Pierre. Someone very close to me is a mobile dog groomer, the kind who knows every pup by name and every gate code by heart.

For years I watched the other side of the job. A client texts for Tuesday at 2, a quick “sure” turns into forty minutes across town and back. A cancellation leaves a hole in the middle of the day, too far from anyone to fill it. Evenings go to rebooking, reminders and reshuffling the week, on a phone, between two dogs, with wet hands.

The apps out there were built for salons with ten chairs and a front desk, not for one person and one van. So we’re building the one we wish existed: fast enough to use between two appointments, honest about drive time, and always leaving the final call to you.

Do my clients need to download an app?

No. Pet owners will use a simple booking link in their phone’s browser; only you use the GroomSolo app. The booking link is still in development.

Can I bring my clients from my current software?

Yes. Export a CSV from your current tool or a spreadsheet. GroomSolo shows a preview, helps you match columns and flags errors before anything is saved. CSV import is already in the app preview.

Who is GroomSolo for?

Independent mobile dog groomers in the United States who work solo from one van. It isn’t built for salons, multi-van teams, boarding or retail.

What happens when I lose signal?

The app is built for spotty signal. A booking is only confirmed by our server, so a change you make offline can’t double-book you: it waits until you’re back online and is checked first.

Will GroomSolo text my clients on its own?

Not today: text messaging isn’t switched on. When it is, it will only go to clients who agreed to it, never as marketing blasts, and STOP will always be honored.

Is GroomSolo free?

Joining the waitlist is free and needs no card. We haven’t announced pricing yet; waitlist members will hear about it before anyone is asked to pay anything.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

That’s the plan: GroomSolo is being built for both. Neither version is on the App Store or Google Play yet, and we’ll tell the waitlist first.

Who owns my client list?

You do. We never sell addresses or client data, and you’ll be able to export your clients, pups and visit history from the app at any time. Our privacy policy has the details.

How do I leave the waitlist?

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or write to hello@groomsolo.com and we delete your details.

When can I get it?

We don’t have a public launch date yet, and GroomSolo isn’t on the App Store or Google Play yet; iPhone and Android versions are coming. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when it’s your turn.
